Bookings

It is advisable to book regular sessions in advance to secure places as there is a limit to how many dogs I can have in. I am licenced for 6 dogs which includes my own dog. Peak holiday times will need as much notice to secure your booking. All new dogs using Basil's Doggie Day Care will need to go through a registration process & all necessary paperwork signed and returned &  deposits paid before any booking can be secured. There are discounted rates for 2 dogs from the same household for walking & overnight boarding services.  Please see our registration details.  Do contact us if you have any questions.

Cancellations

Home Boarding:  4 weeks' notice is required for a full refund. . All bookings will require a deposit at the time of booking & full amount for overnight homeboarding must be paid 2 weeks before start date. There is a 48 hr cooling off period to get a full refund  after securing a booking with full payment or deposit made. 50% refund if cancelled before 2 weeks of the boarding start date. No refunds if cancelled before 2 weeks of the boarding start date, unless the space can be filled with an already registered dog. 

Cancellations due to COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS are not applicable anymore. 

Some pet insurance policies or travel insurance polices MAY cover you for cancelled pet boarding if you are too ill to travel or your travel/holiday is cancelled by the airline or tour operator. Please do check your individual policies. Also, some pet insurance companies may cover boarding fees , if you need to be admitted into hospital. 

Ad hoc dog walking: 48 hours' notice is required  for full refunds.  

Weekly dog walking bookings:  Weekly on-going bookings require a 2 week cancellation notice for a full refund. 

Block Dog Walking or Pet visit bookings: requires 1 weeks’ cancellation notice for a full refund.

Weekly daycare bookings  & Ad Hoc daycare: At least 2 weeks' notice is required as spaces are kept free for the regulars, weeks in advance, otherwise booked days will need to be paid for. More than 2 weeks per year of cancelled weekly daycare sessions will require a 50% retainer, unless the space can be filled with an already registered dog.  A months' notice is required to cancel contracts for all regular daycare or walking services. This must be made in writing/email. 

We do not like to charge our clients with cancellations fees so each case will be considered carefully. Nevertheless due to our strict policy on numbers of dogs we can have booked in, charges may need to be applied as they do with many other booked services.
